We rent out the house and live in another state. We are concerned about what the mortgage company would be able to take from us other than the house if a foreclosure happens?
For example: bank accounts, paychecks, future annuity payments, or any thing else owned?
We are not financially able to continue making payments long term but are current with payments at this time. We have also tried selling but with no luck.
We are a married couple but only one of us on the deed, if this makes any difference.
I know this is difficult to live in a house thus where tornadoes and other seemed storms are able to destroy. Why don’t build cement and concrete houses?
We are looking to refinance our mortgage. We had a bad experience with a mortgage broker the first time around. Aside from the BBB, are there any websites where I can find others’ opinions/experiences with mortgage companies?
Having received some offers already, there are a few which look too good to be true. The majority of the offers so far are at the same, somewhat higher rate (which seems to be the normal rate for our area). I just want to do some background research on the few companies that are offering the lower rates before we accept one of them.
Thanks!
I am trying to find an apartment (by myself) or a home for rent (with two friends). We can’t afford to buy at the moment but we are having trouble with locating decent properties to rent. Either they are way above budget or they don’t have any appeal at all. I am looking in the Mercer, Somerset, Burlington counties of New Jersey as well as the lower Bucks County region of PA. Thanks in advance for any advice!
We are just beginning the home buying process. We have no home to sell (first time buyers) and were thinking of getting a real estate agent. However, I know we would have to sign one of those exclusivity contracts and, if we buy a foreclosed upon home, their comission would have to come from somewhere (us?).
If we are even considering buying a foreclosure, should we sign up with a real estate agent?
I live in Las Vegas. I just received a Foreclosure Intent notice by certified mail. How much longer can I stay in my house?
